Building heat loss calculator for Latvia
EnergyOptimizer is an online tool for estimating heat loss in residential and commercial buildings. It calculates thermal resistance (R-value) and heat transmittance (U-value) for walls, roofs, floors, and windows based on the EN ISO 6946 methodology.
The calculator compares your building's thermal performance against the requirements of LBN 002-19 — Latvia's current building thermal performance standard, in force since January 1, 2020. It covers both residential buildings (U ≤ 0.23 W/(m²·K) for walls) and non-residential buildings.
Presets are available for common Latvian building types: 602 series panel apartments, 103 series brick apartments, private brick houses, aerated concrete houses, and wooden houses. All values can be customized to match your specific building.
